On the first Friday of each month, we unveil a new artist’s collection during the ever-popular First Friday Artwalk from 6 to 8 PM. Good food, good people, and great art make for lively First Fridays at Lyons Share. Come to browse. Come to buy. Or just come.

  Fairhope artist Jo Patton is best known for her watercolor and acrylic impressions of the Mobile Bay Area. The Lyons Share Gallery is honored to feature Patton’s paintings during First Friday Art Walk, September 5th, from 6:00p.m.-8:00 p.m. and throughout September.

  Rachael Sherer finds beauty in simple and often overlooked details. She studies her subject intensely to illustrate these features, which are reflected in her still life works. She draws inspiration from early classical artists, her family and simplicity in life style. Lyons Share Gallery is honored to have Rachael as its featured artist for First Friday and throughout the month of October.

  First Friday featuring Holly Irwin

  November 7, 2008

  Holly Irwin’s work is about simplicticly and beauty in contemporary life. A passion for figure drawing is the basis for her often quiet, reflective paintings. Her goal is to balance line and form, representation and abstraction. Holly uses a rich, warm color pallette, building up layers and depth. Each painting has a history of searching and sketching before intuition takes over and the final story begins.
